News Letter

Your club has enjoyed some varied lessons over the summer holidays and these have included flat work
lessons with Sophie Clark on a Friday evening and I hope to book more of these depending on daylight
permitting and very popular Cross Country sessions at Stockland Lovell with Natalie Edwards. We hope
to continue these as long as the weather allows the course to be available.

Don't forget we have Area 12 Indoor Showjumping at Badgworth to work towards in January and with this
in mind showjumping sessions have been arranged. Very important if you fancy being in the team,
jumping 2'6" in the first round. All those interested please let Helen know. For those of us that only
dream of this, don't worry all the showjumping sessions will also cater for those that only wish to jump
or be introduced to small jumps.

We hope to carry on with the successful dressage series from January and with this in mind flat work
lessons will work towards this.

Your committee have worked very hard for the last two years. We have organised three shows and have a
better bank balance and we would therefore wish for as many people as possible to make it to the AGM
this year - so make sure you have this in your diaries.

Please be aware that trainers need to be paid, regardless as to the amount of people that turn up.
So it is a condition that if you have booked, you will be expected to pay for your lesson regardless of
circumstances, (in the situation whereby your horse is ill, the club will try to give you a credit for
your next training session). Also when booking, please bear in mind to give as much notice as possible
as decisions need to be made if the event needs cancelling through lack of interest. Your consideration
in this would be very much appreciated.

Celia would just like to say thank you very much for all the best wishes from everybody after the birth
of her baby daughter in May. Roxie is now already teaching and will be seen at Riding Club rallies over
the coming months! Also the launch of Equine Canine and Country Life magazine has meant that Celia has
been unable to commit to as much teaching as in the past but looking forward to a good spring/summer series
of training sessions and competitions.

The training weekend in June was fabulous fun and will plan another weekend for next summer on a larger scale.
